OUR FARMS
Sueños de Alba Ganadera has its own farms located in the provinces of Ávila and Teruel. This direct control allows us to ensure the quality and continuous supply of the raw material necessary for the production of our fresh and cured products.
Our pigs are reared under strict organic standards, complying with all the requirements established by current legislation. The pens are open and offer ample space, with a low density per animal, allowing the animals to move freely, play and de-stress. In this way, we ensure that they can develop in a natural and healthy environment, respecting their life cycle and guaranteeing their welfare in the best possible conditions.
BREEDING AND PROCESSING
On our farms, animal welfare is fundamental. We raise Duroc pigs, known for their quality, and feed them exclusively on organic cereals, legumes and fodder from certified suppliers. This approach not only guarantees a healthy and natural diet, but also reinforces our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.
Breeding is prevention-oriented, focusing on practices that eliminate the unnecessary use of antibiotics. This allows us to keep our animals in optimal health, while minimizing environmental impact and promoting responsible production.
In addition, our farms are part of a fully sustainable agricultural cycle. Through a meticulous composting process, we produce high quality compost, which is used to enrich and regenerate the soils of other organic farmers. This practice not only optimizes the use of natural resources, but also promotes biodiversity and improves soil fertility in a natural way. In this way, we actively contribute to the closing of the organic farming cycle, promoting a more resilient and environmentally friendly production model, aligned with the principles of regenerative agriculture.
